Vacating Guide

Vacating Guide

As you would expect to enter a new property with a high cleaning standard, we too expect the property to be left with that same high standard, obviously taking into consideration the ingoing condition report and fair wear and tear.

We find that more often than not, tenants are required to return to the property after vacating to attend to any outstanding cleaning issues. This inconvenience wastes valuable time for both Ray White Inner West and the tenant, and unnecessarily delays them receiving their bond refund.

Upon receiving a tenants vacate notice, we contact the tenants to organise a pre-vacate inspection and to organise a suitable day and time to carry out the final inspection with the tenant and property manager both present to eliminate any issues of having to return to the property for further cleaning and a re-inspection.

We will commence advertising the property for re-let immediately after receiving the vacate notice. As per the Residential Tenancy Agreement, the tenant must give reasonable access to allow prospective tenants through the property when given notice.

We strongly suggest hiring our recommended cleaners to complete the work, that would normally take days, in just hours. So those extra days spent on rent to clean could go towards a cleaner, saving tenants both time and energy that could be put into getting settled at their new home.

We have provided the following guides which will assist you with a stress free move and a full bond refund.
